Download Trace Here

Trace is a configuration tool developed by us for AJAX installers to configure our GPS modules to your clients AJAX hubs.

How To Use Trace

Before you start you must power up the GPS module and connect the module to your internet router via ethernet cable. Make sure the device you are using is connected to the same network as the GPS module.

Step 1.

Download Trace via the download button above.

Step 2.

Unzip the folder and run the Trace.exe file.

Note: If Trace does not open correctly you will need to download and install Nmap and include Npcap when asked in the Nmap installer.

(download button above)

Step 3.

Once Opened, our config tool will automatically start scanning for your gps module. once found you will see it say 'GPS-Tracking-Device' under Devices Available along with an IP and MAC Address.

Note: If you see 'No Device Found' Please ensure the GPS module is connected to your router via Ethernet cable and hit the refresh button.

Step 4.

Check For updates and then continue to the AJAX Account section and enter the login credentials for the target ajax account, then Select the target hub from the Hub ID drop down menu

Note: This account MUST be an ADMIN for the target hub.
Note: Pro accounts are now supported and you can select any hub you are linked to.

Step 5.

If using a cellular connection, enter the Sim Card APN and login if required, if no APN is required please leave all blank, Then select the polling period for sim installations and press Apply.

Note: Polling period is only for the cellular and will not affect ethernet installs.
Note: The polling period you set determines the response time for location data from our GPS module, A longer polling period results in slower response times but reduces data consumption.

Step 6.

When the credentials have been applied successfully, Press the reset button located on the gps module once or disconnect & re-connect the Power Source and the setup is complete
